Netball Season has started!

Week one kicked off with a glorious, sunny day and an awesome first day for NTNC. We had 6 wins, 1 draw and 4 loses - one loss only by 1 point and another because both our A4 teams played each other and someone had to lose!.

We have a new tent this year which is pitched near courts 5-8.  This is a great meeting point for teams, a place to chill in between games, shelter from the weather or pick up anything you might have forgotten - we will have extra balls, match patches and first aid replacements. Come and say hello if you get a chance.

Next week our two A1 teams play each other at 3.40pm on court 2.  We are the only cub in the whole association to have two A1 teams and, having watched their games this week, I recommend coming back to the courts to watch them play each other!  It’s like having our own home grown Super Netball comp.

As we all experienced this week, parking has become even harder.  With the addition of the 9’s age groups at Canoon Road this season, the time between games has been reduced, so please leave as much time as possible to get to the courts for your teams warm up.

And thank you to all our volunteers, coaches and parents who make Saturday at netball possible, we appreciate everything you do.

It is North Turramurra’s turn to volunteer at the Complex window in Week 2 (12th April), essentially handing out score sheets and keeping track of returns. There are quite a few time slots still to fill, so please let us know if you can help out.
