Dear NTNC Netball Community,
At last week's AGM, I was honored to accept the role of President for our netball club. I am thrilled to join the Executive team and build upon the amazing work Kate and previous Presidents have done. My goal is to continue strengthening our club, and I look forward to learning, engaging with our community, and hearing your valuable feedback and ideas so that we remain a club for everyone.
I am a passionate netball fan and have played the sport since my school days in Glasgow, Scotland, before continuing in a London club as an adult. Both of my daughters play netball, starting at Lindem and joining NTNC in 2019, where we have been ever since. I began coaching at NTNC in 2023, which has been an incredibly rewarding and fun experience.
As we prepare for the Winter 2025 season, I encourage you to share any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback you may have. We are eager to hear from you! I'll also be attending the Spring Comp whenever possible, so please feel free to stop by and say hello.
Looking forward to a great season ahead,
Lynn McCardle
NTNC President 2024/2025
A Message from the Outgoing Club President
Dear North Turramurra Netball Club Community,
I wanted to let you know that I did not stand for re-election at last week's AGM. After 9 wonderful years at NTNC and nearly 30 years of service in various clubs and associations, I’ve decided it’s time for me to take a break. I am thrilled to announce that my dear friend and capable successor, Lynn McCardle, will be leading the club forward, and I’m excited to see the future unfold under her leadership.
I am incredibly proud of my time spent at NTNC, having served as a coach, manager, communications officer, and most recently, President. We’ve faced challenges, especially during the difficult COVID years, but I believe we’ve come through stronger. It’s been an honour to work alongside so many dedicated individuals. My hope for NTNC is that it will continue to grow as an inclusive organisation that meets every player where they are, offering opportunities for all, regardless of skill level or passion. I have no doubt that the new Executive team will make this vision a reality.
Thank you, Magpies, for all your support. Keep flying high! I’ll see you on the courts.
Warm regards,
Kate Walther
